Influencer & Creator Campaign ROI Calculator
Estimate orders, profit, ROAS, CPA, and CPM for a creator campaign before you pay the fee.
How the Influencer & Creator ROI Calculator Works
Creator deals are priced up front, but the sales they bring are uncertain. A simple funnel model helps you decide whether a fee is reasonable: how many people will see the content, how many will click, how many of those will buy, and whether the profit on those orders covers what you paid.
Enter the creator fee, the cost of any gifted units, the expected reach, your click-through and conversion rates, your average order value, and your product cost per order. The tool estimates orders and revenue, subtracts the cost of goods and the full campaign cost, and shows your net profit or loss. It also reports effective ROAS, cost per acquisition, and CPM so you can compare the creator with your other channels.
Key Formulas Behind This Tool
- Estimated Clicks: Reach x Click-Through Rate %
- Estimated Orders: Clicks x Conversion Rate %
- Estimated Revenue: Orders x Average Order Value
- Total Campaign Cost: Creator Fee + Cost of Gifted Units
- Net Profit / Loss: Revenue - (Orders x COGS per Order) - Total Campaign Cost
- Effective ROAS: Revenue / Total Campaign Cost
- Cost per Acquisition (CPA): Total Campaign Cost / Orders
- CPM: (Total Campaign Cost / Reach) x 1,000
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does the influencer ROI calculator estimate orders?
It multiplies the creator's reach or views by your expected click-through rate to estimate clicks, then multiplies the clicks by your conversion rate to estimate orders. Every step is an assumption, so test several scenarios.
What reach number should I use?
Use the number of people you expect to see the content, such as average views on the creator's recent posts, not their follower count. Follower counts are usually much higher than the audience a single post reaches.
What is a realistic click-through rate for creator content?
It varies widely by platform, format, and offer, and creator links often convert at a much lower rate than a typical ad. Start with a cautious estimate and use any past campaign data you have, because small changes in this number swing the result a lot.
What do CPM and CPA mean in the results?
CPM is your total campaign cost per thousand people reached, which lets you compare creators and ad channels. CPA is your total campaign cost divided by the orders it produces, which you can compare with the profit you earn on each order.
Should I count gifted product as a cost?
Yes. Gifted units are real inventory you cannot sell. Enter their total cost in the gifted units field so the campaign cost reflects everything you gave up. Product cost for the orders the campaign generates is counted separately through COGS per order.
